WHO: Jade and YOU
WHERE: Around the City
WHEN: 8/24; from noon until sundown
WARNINGS: uh
SUMMARY: Jade's out exploring the City
FORMAT: Prose to start but I'm cool with whatever
Such a large city was something new to Jade and it demanded exploration. Sure she'd seen a city before but that was in her dreams of Prospit. And sure Grandpa and herself had visited a few cities but she never really got the chance to experience them. Not like this.
So she was up early, truth be told she hadn't slept much at all. She'd spent most of the night tossing and turning. She'd had herself a quick breakfast and was out the door, off to explore.
Jade had figured her witch garb would make her stand out too much and luckily for her the room of her previous self had been kept in case of her return. So she didn't have to worry about finding a different outfit to wear. Although her ears were another story. In the end she ended up hiding them under a large sunhat. This way she could blend in better and she was less likely to get a sunburn.
And so she drifted out into the city.
For the most part she stuck to the ground, choosing to walk when she could fly. Sure it was more of a hassle but this way she was getting the full experience. She could fly around at night when there would be fewer people. She supposed maybe people were somewhat used to people flying around but she'd rather not risk it. Not with recent events.

It was definitely time to get out, take a walk, clear his head, and figure out what to do. Trying to see where and what was hiring would be a good idea, too. It was probably ridiculous to think he could handle a job, but he had to try.
Unfortunately, his thoughts just kept drifting back to that night, and he pulled out a cigarette, going to light it, trying to dispel the thoughts. As he did, he had his eyes down, and he'd nearly collided with a girl just as he was turning the corner. Tim moved out of the way just in time, but he'd nearly tripped her, and he looked up quickly, jamming the lighter back into his pocket, checking to make sure the girl was okay. Jeez, he really needed to get it together.
"Sorry," he said, quickly. "Wasn't looking where I was-- are you okay?"

Once her feet had returned firmly to the ground she smiled up at Tim and gave a small nod. "I'm fine. What about you?"

"Yeah, still on my feet." He should probably just turn and be on his way, but instead he took a drag from his cigarette and exhaled, being sure to blow the smoke away from her. "Uh, sorry, but... you're not from around here, are you?" That was the easiest way to ask that question.

She wrinkles her nose as she gets a whiff of the smoke. It might not be blown directly in her face but her sense of smell was pretty good.

"A small volcanic island in the Pacific Ocean somewhere near Australia." she explained with a smile.

She'd never seen buildings so tall before... Her head was craned ridiculously, as a result - a poor decision, since it was apparently going to make her walk right into the other girl...

"Careful. You might run into someone." Her tone is friendly with the undertone of a laugh in it.

"Sorry," she said out loud, quietly - and nervously - watching for a reaction.
ooc: Sorry for delay. D:

She gives Prim a quick look over, honestly happy to see someone else that appears her age in the city that isn't someone from home.

"So have you ever been in a city like this? Not with all the super powers I mean, but big."
