THE GOTTALA CERB

SUMMARY: Off-world adventure on EARTH KLADSUO834LKSFDLKJ8718=LAJD
FORMAT: Whatever.
[There's a culture specific reason as to why this city-ship holds such esteem among the others: its major export are recreational chemicals, and such mind-altering experiences are (for the most part) socially acceptable. This general acceptance (despised only by provincial and fringe Gottalas) can range from merely passive encouragement to outright veneration; Tirisean people do not hold any non-violent crime offensive when the perpetrated is under some influence (and they define "violent crime" by murder or assault -- property damage for example is okay). Often it is thought that an individual connects with their multiverse counterparts, when they subscribe to some substantial influence.
The crucial things to recognize about the Gottala Cerb includes the following:
1) it is THE premiere recreational chemical plant of all the world.
2) None of the buildings make any sense. There is no aesthetic cohesion save for "everything is vibrantly, even violently, colored". Some stairways lead to no where, some doors only open to more doors -- which circles the building in a domino door effect. Some houses are upside down. No one seems to care much.
3) In the middle of this vast ship (which houses about 50,000) is a giant, grassy quad. Sometimes jerks sit on it and play what could be a guitar until their friends are like "oh come don't be THAT ter".
4) The actual chemical producing plans are housed within the boat, thus "underground". Only those scientists are sober.
5) ONLY THOSE SCIENTISTS ARE SOBER. Which means if you're on Cerb, you are REQUIRED to submit to their drug test, which involves taking their drugs.
6) Following symptoms of Gexicil, Paxalatroniton, Yuq, or Vicovixivevint (the main produce) include: euphoria, insomnia, extreme mood swings, hilarious thoughts on how hands work, "deep" conversation about "philosophy", severe anxiety, sudden pout of passive-aggression, a crippling desire to gossip, zen-like contentment, extreme introspection, thinking much of Nineties boyband music was a good idea, hallucinations, all of the above, or none of the above.
7) Denizens of Cerb are overall disinterested or kindly -- a contrast to many other Gottala populations.
