And if you aren't shakin'

WHO: Tony Stark and everyone who could possibly get their way into a charity benefit, whether through invitation or sneaking in or whatever!! Just show up!
WHERE: A hyper-expensive ballroom
WHEN: Backdated to the 31st
WARNINGS: none right now
SUMMARY: UH pretty much what it sounds like!! Come to a giant fancy party dressed in costume, and socialize! Build new CR!
FORMAT: Whatever!!

[ The ballroom was decorated elaborately for the holiday, which meant for the upper-crust, it was the type of decor that attracted the rich and powerful. Although the holiday was supposed to be about scaring people, but this was the furthest thing from scary. Touching more on upper class, with only a few flourishes to the decor that still said "It's halloween"! Like the ice sculpture shaped like a spider, or the "spooky" cocktails, which were really only scary to the host, but not for the same reasons.

There was music, but it was faint, three bars that seemed to be constantly filled with patrons, a table of foods, and tickets for dinners. For the most part, it was all surprisingly low-key for what would be a gathering of the City's richest. If anything, it seemed to be edging on casual, even while the waitstaff were dressed in any number of costumes, most of them the usual that you would expect: flappers, gangsters, cowboys, and pirates. The sort of easy costumes for waitstaff and hosts to wear without much effort, and most of them danced the lines with drinks or more food, or guided guests to the bathrooms.

Although there was still plenty of dancing, and chatting. That seemed to be the worst part about the City's rich. They just seemed to stand and talk with each other. A lot.

Good thing there were always imports to come and stir up trouble, or the actual horror.

["Carl Sagan" saunters in, all 70's chic in his red turtleneck and tan blazer, before he sees "Tony" and comes to a stop.]

Mr Osborn. I wasn't expecting to see you here.

[This has been happening too many times this week.]

[ Oh, look who it is. A nerd in a nerdier costume. Norman finishes off his drink before he bothers to respond (the glass was nearly empty anyway). ]

Is that Peter Parker? I could say the same thing.

You work at one import think tank, you collaborate with the others soon enough. Anyway, who doesn't like a costume party?

[Peter has never been the most natural actor, and that goes treble when Norman's around. So he doesn't quite succeed in sounding innocent when he says:]

I didn't know you and Tony were such good buddies. Is he dressed as the Green Goblin?
