Maybe it was because they were similar in that respect. Kiryu didn't often get curses, but the occasional glare or eye-roll were commonplace. Not to mention the people who had just walked out on him. Sure, for a while he'd been the charismatic leader who had people hanging onto his every word, but eventually...and then the other Dark Signers had been something else altogether.
Kiryu had to smirk back, although there was a bit of uncertainty behind it. He didn't think it had been foolish to visit Yuusei--he hadn't even attacked him--but he hadn't exactly made his feelings a secret.

He absently started playing with a lock of hair; he seemed to be doing that more and more now that his hair was longer. "The robot stuff really shook him up though. He about had a heart-attack when I told him shit happens almost every month."
