At least he was talking, or making an attempt at it. Anzu couldn't get him to say more then one or two words on their date. Don't get him wrong, this wasn't because he was nervous. He just didn't know what to say, and that fueled his awkwardness more. If only he could come up with something he knew well enough, he'd chat Hiruma's pointy ears right off.

Too bad trash-talk and dramatic speeches made for lousy conversation.
