Still unable to sleep, Ysera had left the room to walk through the hotel and try once more to get a feel for the barrier's magic. Both to get more in touch with her own power, and to avoid tripping over people sleeping in the hallways in the dark, Ysera shifted partially into her own dream, becoming only semi-tangible. She would pass through anyone she touched or who touched her. In this state she was both in her dream and in the physical world - and could more easily sense the barrier in both.

Looking as transparent as a ghost, Ysera walked through the halls from the fourth floor down to the first. Anyone she stepped on (or through) would feel the warmth of her where she touched, but may or may not notice her.
