It had vaguely occurred to Bruno once or twice that he should probably get some sleep, especially before he pulled the stunt he was planning to pull later. But he hadn't really gotten tired yet, and besides, he kept having something else grab his attention; like new attempts to break through the ice on the front doors, for instance.

But this was Kiryu, and Kiryu was still enough of an enigma to him that for all Bruno knew he'd just turn around and set Bruno's clothes on fire as soon as he caught him snooping. So Bruno was pretty much just peeking out from around the dividing wall in the hallway, trying to glean as much data as he could from Kiryu's attempts without getting spotted in the process. The camera function on his comm may very well be involved.
