She forced a smile, trying to clear her mind again. It wasn't worth it to worry about. Whatever was gonna happen was gonna happen. There was no need to think about that possibility until the time came. If it ever did.

Bobbi was silent for a few moments, just holding his hand and sitting quietly in his lap. She felt like she'd made things awkward again and undone everything that had happened since they'd kissed. Luckily for her, their order was just about up. The clerk was suddenly yelling at them, waving the bill for them to pay.
