Kiryu nodded as Alastair explained it to him, smirking a bit at the last bit. "Could be fun, making our own spell cards. Maybe some of the speed spells I still remember..."

He looked up abruptly at all the commotion and started drawing cards, absently directing Armed Ninja to head off the guards and take down who it could. He stood ready to summon something else too...

And then Bruno appeared.

He didn't let down his guard completely, because he doubted Bruno was the one making all that noise, but he did relax a bit. It was Bruno; he wasn't going to attack a friend.

"Hey, Bruno. It's okay, we were just leaving," he said, offering a small smile.
