Rocket Man

WHO: Boyd Langton and Doctor Drakken
WHERE: Drakken's Legi-Tech facility. Specifically? The rocket silo.
WHEN: Sunday evening
WARNINGS: None, probably.
SUMMARY: Langton paid for a satellite. Might as well be there for the launching.
FORMAT: Para

The silo was prepared. He stood at the railing, hands behind his back. It was, just a little bit, like being a supervillain again. Well, more of one than he was now. Whatever he was. He could look impressive, and threatening. But it was impressive. It was, after all, an orbital rocket. That was awesome. It was also tremendously large. He liked that. Scale was important in his line of work.

The satellite was hidden away inside, ready to go. Barring any major accidents. Like, oh, a Pteranodon flying into the flight path, she'd fly straight and true, right out into space. The payload also had Drakkens' little 'additions'...his way of proving he was still in the game, if nothing else. Not that he'd ever use them. Maybe. But why the heck not? Besides, he knew nobody knew about his hard-light holographic technology. And the quartet of synths that were hidden inside the satellite with it would make sure nobody ever did. They would survive in space for a good year. Then simply melt away. After a year, nobody was going to bother.

Plenty of time to figure out if he'd want to use it. All he was waiting for was Langton to show up. It'd be better if he were here for this. Why not? Show him what all his money had paid for.
