WHO: Bakura Ryou & Victor Fries
WHERE: Chess tables in Central Park
WHEN: Sunday late afternoon
SUMMARY: Time for the monthly chess game!
FORMAT: Para
There had been a moment of nervous anticipation when he had been about to head out for the park, the memory of the Fallen leaving him to rot in the cave nagging at him to be more careful. But this was something different: a chess match in public with someone who he knew the name of and who was far more open than the Fallen had been. And as long as there were no suggestions to teleport across the globe, he'd be fine.
He couldn't let things like that keep him from making and keeping friends. He couldn't let everything that had happened drag him back to how he used to be.
He was bringing one of his favorite sets this time, the TRPG set, as he thought of it, where one side was medieval style, the other side made of the fantastic: dragons and other impossible monsters only seen in fantasy worlds. He'd always said that chess and Monster World were similar, and this set made it even more so.
