Jessica shrieked again, essentially unable to speak anymore. Adrenaline, pain, and fear had completely taken over and all she could manage to do was scream and cry. Tears streamed down her cheeks, sobs accented by blood curdling screams as the metal cut through her flesh.

Her legs were giving out, she just couldn't stand the pain. One particular cut brought her to her knees, collapsing half into the blade and half against Gamzee. By this point, she was starting to go numb. It almost didn't hurt anymore.
