SUMMARY: Daniel is afraid, so clearly, more competent people need to come rescue him!
FORMAT: Faster than a speeding character in this log!
[Daniel doesn't know how long he's been huddled here in the dark. He ran straight into the store, past a bored-looking teenage kid working the counter, and lucky for him, they hadn't cared enough to keep the basement locked. It's dark, and small, and there was a cabinet there just big enough for him to fit in after he gutted it of food. He knows it's here. Gamzee isn't, but IT is. The walls, last he dared to look outside, were throbbing with its residue, and now and again he hears it keen.
So he's there now, staring at the tiny, bright patch of the communicator screen, hoping that the scratching noises he hears outside are nothing, nothing, rats, nothing to be afraid of...]
