WHO: Gerry and Reilly
WHERE: The cold, hard streets of the City
WHEN: After Reilly returns to the City
WARNINGS: Spider-Angst
SUMMARY: Hiding their ~*True Feelings*~ by training and beating up bad guys
FORMAT: Quick
[The relief and happiness that he felt about his bro being back in the City was quickly overshadowed by the loss of Spider-Girl and Peter Parker (not that he talked to Peter much though (Or so he thought)). So, when Reilly suggested that they pick up their training, Gerry was quick to agree. Not only did he probably need it, since he hadn't really had a good patrol in a while, and, oh yeah, it kept him from thinking too much and being sad that May, of all people, had been sent home.

augh this is so late
No worries ever!
Gerry was thankful that the mask hid his face (even if Spider-Man masks somehow show expressions), since even though he was glad Darkdevil was back, it was muted by the disappearances, and he didn't want to give away that he actually kind of missed Spider-Girl. Reilly would never let him hear the end of it.]
Hey. [He turned and gave a small wave.] How was home?
<3
Hey. Crazy people with powers terrorizing others for money or kicks. Same as always.

Gerry crosses his arms over his chest, trying to appear relaxed, but is probably failing due to the fact that he always just seems to be kind of awkward.]
You were handling it okay, though, right? Not lamenting the fact you couldn't have called me for backup?

The day I have to rely on you is the day I hang up the spandex.
Come on. We have work to do.

[He kind of wants to ask about if he ever got back together with Reilly and Spider-Girl, but it almost seems a bit too weird, and he doesn't want to know if it's bad news.]
Right behind you, partner. [He webs a line to the next building, waiting to follow after Reilly.] What's it going to be tonight? Muggers? Gangs? Drug dealers?
no subject
Tonight? My senses may deceive me, but I'm thinking drug dealers.
no subject
I'll follow your lead on it, sensei.
[The title was more playful than anything for him, but under the bravado and what not, drug dealers really did make Gerry nervous, since most of them carried guns.
no subject
Think you can web their guns from here? I can start with the fireballs. Give them a distraction.
no subject
[He nods, moving closer to the edge.] Give me just a sec, here.
[And he looks over each guy in the group, finding where, he assumes, each one is keeping their gun, whether he sees them or not. He hasn't practice too much with webbing multiple targets though, but he just needed to hit the guns, not wrap up each bad guy.
With a deep breath, he shoot about five lines from each spinneret and hits the guns, pulling them up and out of their reach.]
Go!

Not getting tired yet, are you?

[He takes out the next couple of bad guys easily enough. Yeah, he's looking pretty good, but he's totally not spider-sensing a guy coming up behind him.]
no subject
Spider-Boy! Behind you!
no subject
Spider-Man.
no subject
Really?
You could have been shot, and nicknames are your first priority?
no subject
[Huffs.]
The nickname is important! Spider-Boy is like getting demoted. It's humiliating!
no subject
It feels weird calling you Spider-Man when there's another one here. He does have seniority, you know. Over both of us.
no subject
[He webs another two guys to the wall.]
I guess Spider-Boy works, then. It's better than everything else I've tried.
no subject
Well, you're not a man just yet. Maybe then.
You are improving, after all.
no subject
Did you just compliment me?
no subject
Maybe I did.
Not the point, is it? Come on, Spider-Kid, we're not done yet.
no subject
I don't know, that seems like a pretty important point right now.
no subject
You're not going to let up about this, are you? All right! Fine! I praised you.
no subject
[Yeah, guess who totally forgot about what they were doing.]
no subject
Did you just forget that we're patrolling here? Get back to work.
