After the string disappearances, it was much more of a risk to go out into the City for something as mundane as a social call. Ruka knew this. Knowing, however, wouldn't keep her from seeking out the people she cared about. It was her duty as a responsible friend to make sure her friends were alright; besides, if there was trouble, she had a way to get home instantly. Portkey: never go anywhere without one.
And sure, she could have simply called, but it was always nicer to meet in person, so: a little while after six, Ruka slipped her way into the MAC building, jogged up stairs with a practiced ease, and easily found her way to the proper door.
A knock was greeting enough. From her slack wrist hung a heavy bag of takeout; let it never be said Ruka was a bad guest. It would be somewhat of a waste if he weren't home, of course, but...
