homie don't play that

WHO: Mia Dearden and Jason Todd
WHERE: City rooftops!
WHEN: Post this conversation!
WARNINGS: Potty mouths, violence, chatty cathys
SUMMARY: Streetbabies somehow end up working together for like... a minute
FORMAT: Whatever works

"Dude, that suit jacket colour clearly does not match your complexion. What were you even thinking?"

There was no one around Mia when she said this, at least that she knew of. And the intended recipient certainly couldn't hear her from her position on a nearby rooftop. The intended recipient, her sources told her, was somehow involved in the disappearance of at least three sex worker's from The City's seedier side. She had little to go on about how much this man was involved, but that's what she was here to find out.

Mia didn't usually get to do these kind of stake-out investigations on her own. Ollie would never have let her go by herself. While she missed him terribly, she felt like she could use her experiences here to prove to Ollie that she could handle herself. Again. And again. As much as Ollie frustrated her, she missed the comfort of having him around, having a mentor and someone she could talk to and trust.

Instead, she just ended up talking to herself, which wasn't too far from the norm, anyways. She pulled the binoculars away from her face. "I really need to get a job that doesn't involve taking money from drug dealers..." As she said that, she quickly turned around as she thought she heard something...
