Kiryu's eyes widened in shock before he looked away and scowled down at nothing. As if checking his own pulse hadn't been confirmation enough. He was tempted to grab his birthmark and pray again that he would get turned back to normal, but he didn't. It was weak enough to even be thinking of doing it.
"Sorry," he muttered after a moment, figuring that had probably been an odd reaction. "It's not you."
So Saitou's hearing was somehow much sharper than the average human's. And from the way he was acting, Kiryu guessed that it hadn't always been like that. Maybe this had something to do with the new powers they supposedly got when they came here?
"You can probably hear across the rom too, huh?" Kiryu said, looking back up at him. "Have you tried keeping it from being so bad?"
