Adam blinked, then shook his head. "It isn't. My cousin had one from back home," he said, very convincingly. He shrugged slightly, looking at the two. "I'm no good. I just fiddled around with it. Never even took a basic class in swordsmanship."
That lie, however, would be easily undone. All Saitou had to do was ask around the staff. Adam had brought his sword in some times, usually after a killing or after some sort of creature attack. The staff knew that he was at least somewhat decent with a sword.
"Also, you don't see many katanas around anymore. At least, not when I'm from." He took a closer look at the sword, inspecting it. It really was a good sword.
