Ari, for his part, was just bordering being part of the world, invisible to natives, easily overlooked by Imports, and in general, just a bit cranky.

Apparently there had been things to fight and he had missed it. Figures. Whatever. Not like he cared. Sulk sulk sulk.

The one downside to most NPCs unknowingly avoiding him was that he didn't really bother avoiding them. Not that he had to, of course, but when someone he thought was an NPC turned out not to be... well.
