Far from it. I find my particular services are not as needed in this dimension as they are in my own, so I fall back on what I know -- languages -- although I doubt the school would approve my teaching Demonic Sumerian I can get away with Spanish, Russian, or any other language that none of my students will actually care about.

Well, I wish you luck. I've certainly no desire to return to my previous vocation.

Potions are a rare form of magic in my world, but defense is probably something that should be taught more than it already is and by people qualified to know the difference between a shape-shifter and an actual werewolf.

Too bad it isn't here in the City. But I suppose it's not as needed, as we don't have as many werewolves roaming about as we did at home. At least, I only know of the one so far.

Oh? Only one? I have to admit I'm honestly surprised, although I've known few in my own world, but since the Porter does enjoy a laugh at the masses I expected more than a few in the City.

Only one that I am aware of. There could be others.

Well, those in my dimension were peaceful enough twenty-six days out of the year.

The werewolves of my world were outcast, dangerous. They formed violent tribes on the outskirts of humanity.

There is a potion known to calm them, allow them to keep their human mind while within the wolfskin. It's quite rare and exceedingly difficult to brew. Lucky for our werewolf, I'm one of the few who know it.

[Snape doesn't brag that he knows how to brew it, but there it is.]

Really? Well, I suppose if one is an outcast then it would be natural to cling to the familiar and equally outcast. There are rumors of such packs in my world, although staying together is far more dangerous since the price for were-pelt is rather nice.

Can't say the same for us. Nobody would want such a thing.

Then perhaps yours are more lucky. Some even consider their meat a delicacy, though I'm of the firm belief that it's still cannibalism.

I fear I may have allowed myself to willingly be tricked into attending, not that I wasn't curious as it was, but there are rather more of the non-magical than I thought.
