Kiryu laughed a little and pressed a button near his deck meant to skip the opponent's turn during practice sessions.

"Not all the monsters look so...monsterous. Some of them look pretty human. Like...um...this one," Kiryu said, setting another monster on the duel disk. This one appeared next to the other--a person of respectable height that looked like a cross between a futuristic knight and a ninja.

"What else can it do?" he repeated, grinning. He was glad he'd started testing this while talking to Richard. He tilted the duel disk a little and pushed on of the buttons on the underside. The space around them for about fifty yards in all directions suddenly seemed to be flooded, knee-high, in water. It felt like it was actually water, too.

Kiryu glanced down, a little confused by this. "Weird...it isn't usually this realistic..."
