Considering what appeared to have been regenerative abilities (she hadn't gotten much of a look from down below; she was too busy focusing on simultaneously shielding as much of the area as possible and creating that barrier)... well, this was going to be a lengthy fight, unless they were able to return it from whence it came or figure out a weakness, both of which didn't seem too likely at the moment. But the magician has been through much, much worse than this. All it took was resilience and tenacity. So long as they didn't give up, they'd eventually succeed. They had to.
