It had begun to hurt, gripping the chair like he was. Zelgadis' face ticked with a sharper grimace when he released, feeling the hurt in a way he wouldn't with a tougher hide. He continued to slowly flex his fingers for moments after and let the blood rush back in. That was hardly on his mind, however. He wasn't liking where things were going.
