Zelgadis was very compelled to put at least a little distance between them, moving around the chair to sit heavily as the other was speaking. That weird guy was probably being honest about things, then, more to his distaste. He grimaced behind the hand drawn to his face once more, feeling a sting of pressure from trying to make Geddoe's remarks fit into some fuzzy sequence of events.
