WHO: Layla Miller (Age 13 and a half) and Dick Grayson (age 18). I wanted to put ages because Sophie always does.
WHERE: Times Square
WHEN: Backdated, Friday March 6.
WARNINGS: None. But emo. Yes.
SUMMARY: Layla stalks Dick Grayson, age 12. So she decides to stalk Dick when he is 18 today just to see what is up.
FORMAT: Paragraph.
The porter had malfunctioned this week. People all over the network had changed into older and younger versions of themselves, and while most were completely innocent in the sense that not much had changed besides their personality, Layla was a bit worried about Dick. She'd yet to hear from him or see him, and that made the girl wonder if he'd been affected. The porter was always unpredictable to her, and she could never see what was coming.
But Dick was supposed to be someone bad in the future. A murderer. Unstable. She also knew that he hadn't bothered even telling anyone that fact, and she hoped no one had been hurt. Well, Tim would've posted about something to someone, she supposed. He was the other person that Dick was close to, and Layla figured she could rely on Tim if something bad had happened to him.
Yeah, she could.
But she still had to see Dick for herself. Layla was worried about her friend, and knew she had to find a way to catch him on the street. He'd show up here today, Times Square, she had a gut feeling. Impatiently, she propped herself up on one of the rails and looked around the hundreds of bodies walking the streets. She'd have to spot him somewhere.
It took her quite a few moments, but she finally thought she picked out the right guy. But he was older. He looked different, walked different, and carried himself much differently. It made a chill run down her spine, and the girl swallowed before jumping down to approach him.
