There's a party goin' on right here!
WHO: Featuring Luna Lovegood and a cast of birthday well-wishers!
WHERE: House Tonksgood
WHEN: February 13th, 8pm
WARNINGS: H for Hideous
SUMMARY: It's Luna's birthday, Andromeda and Tonks are throwing her a birthday party.
Invitations have been sent out, some by Andromeda and some by Tonks. Not knowing who Luna considered a friend or not, Tonks had given her a great stack to pass out herself. The time and place were stated. Directions were given. The theme of the party was described which had been followed with a warning.
Guests are encouraged to stick to the pink and red theme. The Hosts are not responsible for any color-change charms gone awry.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. While this is Luna's birthday, tomorrow's holiday did help to inspire the theme! Pink and red. So the entrance way looks like someone threw up pepto bismol on everything and in the dining room the red chairs clash hideous with the burgundy walls but what's a party without a little bit of eye strain and induced nausea?
The food has been spared some of the pink and red horror. Luna's birthday cake is a red velvet affair with pink, cream cheese frosting. There are pink and red meringues. The beverages range from red cream soda to pink lemonade and a few other options. As for the other food, the appetizers and finger-food offerings, those run pretty mundane (in other words normal) in color.
There are party hats by the door along with an almost never-ending row of hooks to hang your coat on.
Come one. Come two. Come by yourself or with a crew.
