Thirty men had seemed like an awfully small casualty list for Knives. That explained why Vash hadn't found his brother there still, slaughtering ever more people. "I can't imagine anyone coming close to taking YOU down."

The surprise of seeing his brother in such a state had distracted Vash, but it hadn't disarmed him. "Why'd you do it? You said you weren't gonna kill the humans anymore!"
