[ She's not in the best of moods tonight.
A couple of nights ago she had managed to track down one Carla Mendes and practically shake the information she needed out of her. It's just small arms being dealt -- she's done this before. Countless of times, actually. She got a time and place where she could find the ex-boyfriend, Jerry, and the next gang he would be meeting.
They didn't show that night.
The information wasn't wrong, something had changed between then and now. And Kate could be terribly sour about not getting her way.
Fortunately for her, Carla doesn't seem to understand how to lay low, so tracking her down had been as simple as retracing her steps. Carla bolts the moment she spots a familiar black and red shadow, but Kate is hot on her heels. There's no room for a mistake this time.
Carla screams loudly, enough to wake the neighborhood. ]
