[ She wasn't used to being this poor. It had taken a great deal of self restraint to avoid the expensive restaurants and clothes, but she was currently within budget. And hating every second of it.
But tonight she had calculated the numbers and determined that she did indeed have the money to go eat a decent meal at an actual restaurant, one that didn't just stick everything it served in fat and assume that meant it was cooked. While she had lived with X-Factor and therefore was fully capable of living on such food, it wasn't what she would choose.
Now she snapped her napkin open and folded it carefully before lifting her glass to take a sip of wine. Ahhh. Yes, this was more like it. ]
