Here, there, and everywhere
WHO: Barbara Gordon and you
WHERE: around town
WHEN: this afternoon
WARNINGS: probably none!
SUMMARY: After over a month here, it's finally time to explore in person. Want to run into her (or go with her, depending)?
FORMAT: any works! (ok, quick or paragraphs - I probably won't be able to tag in Morse code or via telepathy)
Since she'd become Oracle, Barbara had become used to not getting out much. It wasn't that she was a complete homebody or that she didn't know there were benefits to sunshine and fresh air. She'd simply been busy, nearly always on call in case someone needed her help and pursuing her own projects when she wasn't.
It was even easier to become a hermit now that she was in the City. There was a whole new world of systems to access and information to explore and catalog. It was easy to get tunnel vision and only go out when absolutely necessary.
But today, she'd decided that was enough of that. It was summer and a beautiful day. It was time to stop and smell the roses. By which she meant go out and see the City for herself, not through a computer screen.
Mind made up, she headed out the door, ready to finally see what was around her instead of rolling on through, too focused to pay much attention. Who knew? Maybe she'd even find those roses.
