He's... totally not brave enough to offer out his hand, or propose giving her a lift, or anything. She might not hate him, but she probably wouldn't like that. (Or maybe he's just super nervous around girls.) So instead:

"I'll do you one better." With one jump he catches ahold of the brick wall halfway up, claws digging in easily, and with a second jump he snags a perch midway up the ladder and rides it down. It lands with a clang, and he steps off with a grin and an after you gesture.
