Entry tags:
two bats in a batcave
WHO:
battothefuture and
futurebatwoman
WHERE: The Batcave
WHEN: Maybe a few days afterTerry went BACK.... TO THE FUTURE i mean landed in the City. Again.
WARNINGS: herp a derp
SUMMARY: So Terry has questions and the Batcave has answers. And given how the comms have borked and how much he's missed, reading through the Batfiles is probably the easiest way to do things. Besides, he missed his puppy.
FORMAT: w/e w/e we don't care up here
It had been over a year - that he could remember - and he had been here without remembering it. It had happened before, but he'd never left and come back to find that he'd been here - it was odd and unsettling. Terry had already picked through what had been his apartment, knowing where to check, but not what had been there. It had been a little like deja vu, and a little not. Either way, he didn't like it.
The good thing was that he still had most of the things that mattered to him, for all that he didn't know what he was doing with himself anymore. Which was one of the reasons he was here. One of the things Bruce had done very well was instilling a need for knowledge in Terry, who already was curious. And, well, Bruce wasn't here to do the research. That wasn't any change, at least.
Lady, her features a little too sharp for a great dane and her size a little too large for almost anything else, was curled up at his side, her dark coat glowing in the light of the Batcave's monitor. She'd finally grown into her paws - it was a little amazing, how much she had grown in the day and a half since Terry had seen her last. Of course, it had been a little longer for her. He was glad she was still here.
