"Copy that." Jack floored it down the road, night wind tugging at his jacket, scooped up off the ground on his way to the truck. They passed the other vehicle without being fired on- but Jack did get a glimpse of a militiaman still standing. It looked like he was talking on a radio.

"They've probably already called for reinforcements. Keep an eye out for more vehicles. They like to drive without headlights and come up from both sides." Jack had familiarized himself with this group's tactics once it became clear they were going to be an issue. "We just need to get inside the airport and get aboard a plane to the States."
