WHO: Misfit (Charlie) and Batwoman (Kate)
WHERE: A random bank
WHEN: Early evening on the Eighth.
WARNINGS: Violence!
SUMMARY: Charlie and Kate both foil the same bank/armored car robbery.
FORMAT: Para?

Charlie didn't have informants the way the other Bat-family members did, she generally was more 'on the street, fighting impromptu crime,' rather than following up long term leads. But a guy she had caught robbing a liquor store the other night had insisted he knew of a 'big hardcore bank robbery' going down tonight. He'd thought telling her would get her to let him go.

Whoops.

But either way, here she was, perched on a roof opposite the bank, watching as the armored car pulled up to the bank. Whatever was going to happen, it was supposed to happen when they started loading the money in for the night. Which meant waiting. Which she was terrible at.

But in this case, she didn't have much of a choice. So she kept herself hidden in the shadows of a water tower as she watched the two armored car guys go into the building, and then come out with a few guards to load the car. Waited, and watched, and...there!

Just as the two men were finishing, and the guards had gone back inside, men melted out of the shadows, charging for the car and knocking out the two drivers before they even had a chance to react. So the guy had been right. She almost felt bad for leaving him for the police, really. Weren't you supposed to keep informants in your pocket for later or something? Oh well.

With a grin she straigthened up, carefully considering her options and tactics...and then she took a step forward and vanished in a swirl of pink light and smoke...

Only to reappear a moment later, across the street, as her foot connected solidly with one of the criminals noses, sending him sprawling. She had a big grin on her face as she ducked down, swinging towards the next. "DARK VENGEANCE!" She cried out as she struck, because some things were just important.

And surprise was a kind of tactic after all, right?
