[Bucky's eyes are stuck at the sidewalk, but he turns his chin up, to say:]

Huh? Oh— yeah, I'll bet.

[Stupid, he thinks. Stupid to even get his hopes up. Of course they wouldn't leave a loophole like that. He was trapped, and that was the whole heads and tales of it. Bucky hadn't thought he minded so much, anymore, but the second he thought he could get back that all twisted upside down.]
