Honestly, she could not figure out why her employer had been throwing such fits about Lucifer's arrival here. Yes, his presence would make any demon or angel's hairs stand up on end, however he was hardly rude or unpleasant when it came down to it.
Balthazar himself was far worse in mannerisms. Years of being told she was nothing more than a "daughter of Lucifer", a "spawn of the devil"... it had built up this man to be some raging force of evil that would destroy in a single glance - however it seemed that he honestly didn't give a damn. Strange... but who was she to question it?
She paused, going over some words in her head to make sure they came out correctly, "Is there anything I could do to make the night more pleasant for you?" It was best to stick to the politeness before it faded away.
