"You're not responsible for his crimes," Jack responded immediately. Inwardly though, he recognized and appreciated Spider-Man's willingness to take responsibility for his failures, the complete lack of ass-covering. Brooding over mistakes and missed chances to save lives was something Jack could fully relate to.
