Have you seen that girl on the corner?
WHO: Helena Wayne & Kate Kane
WHERE: A fancy French restaurant
WHEN: Backdated to Saturday night
WARNINGS: N/A
SUMMARY: Helena takes Kate out for a belated birthday dinner.
FORMAT: Quick to start, Nita's choice!
[Helena had felt bad about being unable to take Kate out for a birthday celebration on the date itself, but seeing as everyone had been sickened during their stay in Venezuela, she was sure Kate would understand. And, as much as Kate enjoyed dancing and drinking, Hel had it in her mind that something a little quieter might suit them better after that experience. So she'd made the reservations, bought a nice dress for the occasion, and brought some flowers for her friend. The roses were burgundy, a color she thought suited Kate quite nicely, having paid no attention to the meaning behind the blooms.
Presently she is sitting at the table, having placed an order for the most expensive wine on the menu. Tonight they will celebrate like queens, eating all the best food and having the best time imaginable. Kate deserved it, and maybe, Helena thought, just maybe she did too.]
