SUMMARY: A misunderstanding leads to a meeting and Peter Parker getting soaked

*Ever since she'd learned about the aquatic nature to her powers - and that water would allow her to regain her original troll body - Feferi spent quite a lot of time out at sea. Of course, that meant enduring the putrid waters of the Hudson and the immediate vicinity of the City, but her newly-enhanced underwater speed meant it was rarely an ordeal of more than a few minutes.
And while the water was cold at first, it would only take her a few heartbeats to begin transitioning into her sea-troll body, which was far more adept at handling these frigid November waters. So, Feferi hummed happily to herself as she stepped up to the railing somewhere along the river in midtown Manhattan, swinging her legs over - and jumping into the river with a splash.
Of course, the locals never quite saw it her way. To an observer, one would simply see a young girl jumping to her apparent death in a swift-moving ice-cold river. How culturally insensitive.*
