It was a pretty good window of vulnerability. Only a moment, but for as fast and hard a fighter as Kyouko, it's all she can expect. But--she doesn't lunge quite as fast as maybe she could. By the time the head of her spear crunches into the ground, Kanaya's on her feet again.

Kyouko bounces back from that miss, holding the spear across her body with both hands. "You even bleed in elegant colors, huh!"
