Stick them with the pointy end
WHO: Jason and Sofia
WHERE: Dojo
WHEN: Thursday evening
WARNINGS: none
SUMMARY: Jason is teaching Sofia how to fight with a sword
FORMAT: Whatever suits!
The training sessions with Jason were a good way for Sofia to get rid of her frustrations. Nothing had changed since the Skrull attack on the other world. People were waiting for something else to happen. Sofia didn’t like that, she didn’t want the city to be unprepared. The natives were angry enough as it was that they were in the city. What if they, the ones who had the powers, failed to protect them? They didn’t need anything like the Reavers to start here.
Sofia walked into the room they were using in the Dojo and discarded her coat on the bench. “Hi,” she smiled. Jason was becoming a good friend. He was an easy person to be around, he would have fitted in well with the New Mutants. Thankfully he was also a patient trainer when it came to the sword. She had lost count of the amount of times she had dropped the sword during the first week of training.
“Are you ready to get started?”
