The sun was shining and the temperature was nice and balmy. It was warm weather for mid-April, but not at all unwelcome to Jessica. It was almost pleasant enough to remind her of home in Sweet Valley, where the coldest winter days felt a lot like this.
Also helping her mood was the prospect of making-over Soranik. She wasn't an unattractive lady, even Jessica could admit that freely, but her wardrobe needed some major work. The blond had some ideas on how to go about this experiment already, but she would also welcome feedback from her newest client. And to add to the fun, Jessica brought along a camera, on loan from the City Lights office, to document the process. What better way to advertise her skills than to share the experience with her readership?
Presently, she was waiting on the corner of Broadway and Bond Street, near some inexpensive clothing stores, admiring the cheap, fashionable clothes while waiting for Soranik to arrive.
