He understood. He was much the same, in some aspects. He'd fought his entire life, put so many other priorities above his own, but instead of closing himself off, he was almost open to a fault. He needed people. He craved connections, both emotional and physical. More than anything in his life, Roy didn't want to be alone. It didn't have to be love. It just had to be... something.
