"It's a hard thing to figure out," he said cryptically, internally pouring over the complicated emotions that surrounded people like Cheshire and Donna. Had he really loved either of them? Had he loved them both? Was one more important than the other? Roy wanted one of them to matter more, outdo the other in terms of what she'd meant to him, but when he really, truly thought about it, Jade had been his first love, not Donna. And remembering that made him feel all the more stupid.
