[Kate has spent all of the major holidays getting her volunteer on, whether it's wrapping presents for kids, preparing soup and making beds for the homeless, or canvasing street corners to raise money and awareness for local after school sports programs. It's been second nature to her for awhile now, and this Memorial Day is no exception. She's taken the initiative and organized a cookout for a local women's shelter, complete with volunteer chefs at the barbecues out back cooking up delicious smelling meats, and Kate herself is in the kitchen with a knife, chopping up vegetables for salads.]
