like punching in a dream
WHO: karkat and rua.
WHERE: their house.
WHEN: sunday night.
WARNINGS: graphic descriptions of death, violence and psychological trauma.
SUMMARY: at karkat's urging, rua tries to find his sister. things don't go as planned.
FORMAT: quick to start then whatever jeff wants.
[ now, karkat doesn't know much about what's going on in new vesuvius, but he does know something big was supposed to have gone down last night. something that, if successful, would allow the stranded imports to return to the city without dying. unfortunately, the hanging implication of that is that if unsuccessful, the imports would be stranded. maybe. probably.
it's edging towards twenty four hours since that big thing was supposed to go down, and he still hasn't heard from ruka. she hasn't come home. he could text her, and ask her if she's alright, but the last things they said to each other...
it's easier, in the end, to take his stress out on rua. when he hears rua coming down the stairs, he halts the anxious pacing and trawling the network he'd been doing for the past few hours to make his way to the bottom of the stairs, and block his passage. ]
You said you were connected to Ruka, didn't you?
