A: CAFE
FRIDAY, 08/23 - MORNING
ORGANIC DANGER

[ some days, she would force herself to wear her skin and call it an experiment in the human experience. for all the weeks she'd spent trapped in her organic body before, she had been too preoccupied to objectively learn. but now that she knew she could change back at a whim, this human-like form was less threatening. less of a prison. patience, she'd learned, was the key to control this body. the early hours of that morning had been spent training the weakness out of her muscles, hardening her soft spots-- fine-tuning. but an organic form had its limits. it required rest and replenishment.

she stood outside a small cafe in her work-out clothes, holding up what appeared to be a tall plastic cup of something very, very green. she eyed it skeptically, frowning at it. practically speaking, this was supposed to be effective nutrition. but there was the issue of being able to taste now-- a problem she didn't have to deal with as a machine-- and she seemed wary.

finally, a tentative sip-- then, immediately, disgust washed over her face, pinching the place between her eyebrows and wrinkling her nose. her cheeks ballooned slightly as she resisted swallowing, hand flying up to cover her mouth-- gulp, gag, cough.

this was going to be more challenging than she thought.

B: NORMAN OSBORN HOSPITAL OF PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION
SATURDAY, 08/24 - EVENING
ORGANIC DANGER

[ danger was learning how to use her more human appearance to her benefit. the various native employees at the osborn facility-- even what non-import patients they served-- did seem to respond to her better in her organic form. they were more compliant, when it was easier for them to see her as more like them. the seed of resentment she felt was a small inconvenience for their increased cooperation. with norman osborn a constant thorn in her side, every improvement was a small blessing.

the end of a productive day found danger out in the lobby, hefting a sizable stack of papers and folders in her arms. schematics, blueprints, program readouts-- all to be taken with her, of course, because she was always working, even off grounds.

she paused at the door, eying the papers in her hands then the door handle, then back to the papers in her hands. pursing her lips in annoyance, she carefully shifted the weight of her files into one arm, balancing it precariously as she reached slowly for the handle.

C: CITY STREETS
SUNDAY, 08/26 - LATE NIGHT
MECHANICAL DANGER

[ the truth was, in her mechanical body, danger didn't need to stay cooped up to get her work done. most of the programs-- at the hospital and at x-club-- were integrated into her systems. she could manage most of the menial tasks remotely. it was just that she preferred the peace and quiet of isolation. humans (and all similar species) were inevitably distracting, and almost always complicated even the most simplest things by merely existing. besides that, with both madison and hank mccoy gone, she simply didn't trust her work to anyone else.

but now and again, she found it prudent to explore. as advance a machine as she was, she was hardly omnipotent. efficient with data, certainly, but it wasn't as if the information simply flew into her lap. once in a while, she had to wander into the city, updating her mental map, her data on the populace, taking note of anything interesting.

of course, she preferred to do it when there were less people around-- hence the late, dark hour at which she decided to take on this particular task. the staring and poking and prodding wasn't exactly helpful to her, and it was offensive besides. no, danger waited until the city was a little quieter, when most of the ordinary people were well asleep. only then did she venture out, taking to the streets. as she walked, her robotic body radiated a steady blue glow in the dim.
