(HERO CAMP) We learned to run at speed of light
WHO: Anyone who is looking to get PUMPED UP
WHERE: The Institute
WHEN: November 15th-17th
WARNINGS: Training logs. Fighting, mild violence, possible injury. Will update as necessary.
SUMMARY: In an attempt to bring the community together, Lancer and a few sympathetic imPorts have organized a festival of training and cooperation where our more skilled/veteran heroes can offer their knowledge and skills to others.
FORMAT: As you like!
It isn't much to behold. Really, if you didn't know what was going on it could easily be mistaken for some sort of after school sports practice. But what can you expect from a nearly zero dollar budget? Most of the mats and equipment were either on loan from the Institute and the like, or supplied by the training participants themselves.
But that really means little in the face of the atmosphere. Spirits are high as people flock to the fields around the Institute, eager to view the dazzling and inspiring demonstrations of the imPort community's collective prowess. While it was technically pitched as an imPort training event, word must have gotten out to the general public as more and more supportive natives show up to ogle your abilities and may sometimes even approach you to participate in your demonstrations.
A few hotdog carts and other such mobile shops even start cropping up and a few boomboxes get added to the mix, giving the feel of an actual festival.
Training and participation is completely free, as a rule, as this is all being held at the benefit of the imPorts of the city.
Your fellow imPorts are ready to show their full potential!
