He slipped inside, closing the door and making himself at home in the passenger's seat. Those unnatural eyes explored the interior, taking in surroundings with a idle sort of curiosity. Where he came from, cars were clunking, clumsy things, puttering along gravel roads. Envy had become accustomed to human advancements in this age since his arrival, but he never could help the twinge of covetous interest. Those little maggots could be clever, he supposed, when they wanted to be.

Or at least, they were always good at making things for him to want.

Finally, the shapeshifter glanced towards the Corinthian, eying him with that same sort of interest: always touched faintly with malice, murderous intent, and a deeply unsatisfied want. He didn't blink. Unnaturally still for a long moment of scrutiny-- until suddenly, he moved with inhuman speed, leaning in and plucking the sunglasses from the Corinthian's face.

There you are.

"Why, hello," the leviathan mocked lightly, unintimidated and unsurprised. His voice was a smooth medium between masculine and feminine, and his teeth, when he bared them in a dark smile, were monster-sharp.
