Selina may have refused to call the City home, but her bed was her bed and she was glad to be back to it. As much as she'd traveled, it always took her a day or two to adjust to what passed for a normal schedule for her.

She left her clothes in a pile on the floor, long past caring. Crawling in between the sheets, she was asleep almost as soon as her head hit the pillow.
